With Invisalign treatment, you don’t have to worry about metal brackets and wires. Your dentist will use advanced technology to design a series of clear plastic trays. You’ll wear each set of trays for about two weeks, then move to the next set. During brief checkups every 6 weeks or so, your dentist will check your progress and provide you with more aligners. Most patients complete their treatment in less time than with braces, typically within 10 to 18 months.
What sets Invisalign apart?
For many patients, Invisalign kicks off a smile makeover in Andover Smiles that might include professional teeth whitening, dental bonding to fix chips, or porcelain veneers for a magazine-worthy finish. Ready to complete your perfect smile? Explore our Cosmetic Dentistry options today!

Love these people. Always friendly and they provide great service. I have been going to them since they opened. The new Dr. is a great addition. Made you feel very comfortable from the very beginning. I had crown work down. Did an excellent job. Feels great.
Andover Smiles is the best dentist office have ever had and I am 68 years old. They care about the patient as they would a family member. Extremely knowledgeable and available. They are all a part of my team to keep me healthy. Thank you for giving me my smile back. What a wonderful practice this is! Starting with the front desk receptionist Lori!
Dr Calegan was fabulous! I felt in very good hands here!
I just recently had a crown done by Dr. Calegan. She was patient with me for making sure that my bite was perfect. Well worth it. All the staff are excellent at Andover Smiles..
Small and personable, does great work. Sort of a throwback where everyone in the office greets you by name and with a smile. I’ve never come close to a bad experience here…always top notch! PS I promise I will start flossing more.
Teens and adults often prefer Invisalign to traditional metal braces because the aligners are clear and nearly impossible to see. People may not even notice you’re wearing them unless you point them out, so you’ll feel much more confident about their appearance while at school and in social or professional settings. You can also remove your aligners for a short time for photos or special events.
Invisalign uses a series of custom aligners that fit over your upper and lower teeth to gently move them into the correct position. You wear them about 20-22 hours a day for best results. Every couple of weeks, you switch to the next set of aligners in your series until your treatment is complete.
Each patient is different, so it’s difficult to put a time estimate on your treatment without having first examined you. However, most of our patients complete their Invisalign treatment in anywhere from 12 to 18 months. Your individual treatment time will depend on the severity of your case and how well you adhere to your treatment plan.
